Happiness Always

Happiness Always
This card could be used for a wedding or just for general well-wishes or sentiments. I used the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder - twice! Since it only embosses the corner I used it in one corner on the Certainly Celery paper then repeated with the Very Vanilla card stock. The torn edges were merged together on Marina Mist. The bird and branches were added using the Extra Large 2-step Bird Punch. Lastly, the Marina Mist ribbon, some pearls, and lightly inked embossed image finished it off.

This card also used the Sunny Garden designer series paper and the Fancy Flower Bigz die. That flower is becoming one of my favorites! It's so elegant. The texture was added using the Square Lattice embossing folder and the butterflies from the Beautiful Wings embosslits die. My Mother loved it.

Baby Shower Invitation

Baby Shower Invitation

I was asked to create invitations for a friend's baby shower. She is having a girl but didn't want anything too "girly." Her colors are green and brown so I used the Certainly Celery and Early Espresso paper on Very Vanilla. The brad and twine serve as the closure with the invitation details printed on the inside. The polka dot texture was created using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. The bird was created using the Two-step extra large bird punch while the "baby" tag was punched with the jewelry tag punch. Hope you like it!

I couldn't wait to use the Sunny Garden designer series paper from Stampin' Up coupled with the Fancy Flower Bigz Die. I love to cut this flower in white and then ink the edges to compliment whatever page or card I'm working on. The texture on the yellow was created using the Square Lattice embossing folder which has so many uses. The flower in the corner was created using the new Flower Garden embossing folder. I can see lots of uses for that one too.

This was created using the Easter Blossoms set in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I love the versatility of either making the dogwood a focal point or a background.  The Four Frames stamp set and decorative label punch make it so easy to add a great sentiment.  Using the Fancy Flower punch, if you overlap one blossom the result looks like a dogwood bloom.  Shelly - you were the inspiration for the pink and brown together - thanks for the reminder of how great they are together!
